About Midway, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Midway is a Kentucky city located in Woodford County, and its population as of 2012 was over 1,600 residents. In 2003, the city went through a major renovation of its streetscape as part of the Main Street Kentucky program, and these changes helped to bring life back to the community. The town is also home to Three Chimneys Farm, which is a major breeding operation for thoroughbred racehorses. As part of a humid subtropical climate zone, Midway is known for snowy winters and hot summers. Spring and summer are the wettest seasons in the city.
Midway is a small community, so there are very few attractions located within its limits. However, art enthusiasts may enjoy trips to the Chesser House Gallery or the Damselfly Galleries. Other popular destinations are located in nearby communities, including the Longview Golf Course in Georgetown, the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, and the Bluegrass Railroad and Museum in Versailles.
